I truly wondered throughout the year whether or nor Republicans were trying to lose the Midterms on purpose because of how badly they were handling the perfect situation they were given. People were outraged about inflation, crime, the stock market, Ukraine, and education.
All the Republicans needed to do was talk about how they were going to work to improve those situations, and be the anti extremism party. But instead they went totally extreme in their own direction. Its absurd that they thought the abortion thing was going to help them gain votes.
They should have done nothing except talk about inflation and how they would fix it. But instead, they went after abortion rights, anti student loan forgiveness, and dipshit Clarrance Thomas started talking about looking into reforming gay marriage rights.
Peolple don't want this bible thumping bullshit, they want moderate leadership that will leave them alone while improving their lives.
With the growth of major cities, I'm projecting that aside from Ron Desantis the Republican Party is dead. If you're scared of what the Democrats are doing, your best hope is to support this cause to create an equal oppurtunity for 3rd party candidates to compete.
